Bill Pruitt - North Texas
Bill is a native of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and has spent most of his business career in North Texas. Upon graduation from UT-Austin, Bill joined Merrill Lynch and later the corporate finance department of a Dallas-based investment firm.
Prior to forming APG, Bill was CEO of a Texas-based manufacturer of oilfield service equipment that he was instrumental in selling to a NYSE-listed company. Before taking the CEO role, Bill owned and managed a business brokerage and advisory firm which handled the sale of numerous small to mid-sized Texas-based companies in a wide variety of industries.
Bill has more than twenty-five years of experience in the sale of small and medium sized companies and advising their owners. He is based in APG’s Fort Worth office and represents seller-clients in North Texas as well as assisting in Southeast Texas.
Rodney L. Ames - Beaumont and Southeast Texas
For more than twenty years, Rodney has been involved in selling small to medium sized businesses including manufacturing, retail, food service, industrial distribution, factory authorized dealerships and well-known franchises. Based out of APG’s Beaumont office, Rodney joined the firm in 1998.
Rodney has an extensive background in business management, marketing & sales and led a multi-location manufacturing, distribution and sales organization as its CEO. Due to the fact Rodney has successfully sold businesses that he has personally owned, he understands very well both the business and emotional issues that can often be associated with exiting a closely held company.
Rodney and his wife Becky, who is the Mayor of Beaumont, are both actively involved in their community. In addition, Rodney is a longtime member of the Texas Association of Business Brokers (TABB) and has served numerous terms on the TABB Houston Chapter Board of Directors.
